PTFE superfine powder-A02 is superfine polytetrafluoroethylene powder developed by the factory, average particle size is about 3 micrometer. It is suitable for customers having stringent fineness requirements. Even more PTFE-A02 has light molecular number(molecular number<10,000). Besides excellent performance of polytetrafluoroethylene, it has unique properties, including, no self-coagulation, no electrostatic effect, good intermiscibility, low molecular number, good dispersion, high self-lubrication, low friction coefficient, etc.
Adding PTFE-A01 powder in the lubricating oil and grease can improve the material& acute;s high pressure, high temperature lubrication. Even the loss of base oil, PTFE powder can also play a role as dry lubricant. Silicone oil, mineral oil or paraffin oil, added by PTFE powder can improve the oil viscosity. The viscosity of base oils and lubricants required for the consistency and applications depend on the dosage of PTFE powder. Usually the addition level is 5%-30 % (mass fraction). Adding PTFE powder in resin, rosin, mineral oil, can get high-quality lubricants which are widely used in ball bearings, wear-resistant bearings, lubrication guide, slider, open gear, chemical equipment, valves, precision machining plane sealant and so on. In addition, PTFE powder can be used as dry lubricant such as graphite, molybdenum disulfide and the effect is good. It can be mixed with propane and butane to be not only used as non-stick and anti-wear spray, but also the additives for rocket. PTFE powder can also be used as an effective grease thickener in the lubricant.
