Shanghai Fingertech Information Co. Ltd (SFT) is one of the leading fingerprint biometric companies in China since its establishment. In early 1998, SFT's technical team worked with professors from the Chinese Academy of Science (Shanghai Branch) and Shanghai Jiao Tong University to co-develop the groundwork for fingerprint recognition algorithm.
