Heavy hammer crusher is a kind of machine which directly crushes the materials with the maximum granularity of 600mm-1800mm into no less than 25mm. It’s applied in secondary and fine crushing of medium solid materials, such as limestone, slag, coke and coal, in the cement, chemical, electricity and metallurgical industries.
Working Principle
According to different requirements of consumers, the gap between diagrids is adjustable to alter the discharging granularity. Fast rotary hammer block impacts with materials to crush them, featured by simple structure, large size reduction ratio, high productivity, etc. There are two types: dry and wet heavy-duty hammer crushers. The main component is the rotor with a hammer (or hammer block). The rotor is composed of main bearing, table, pin and hammer. Driven by the motor, the rotor rotates at a high speed in the crushing cavity. The materials go into the body from the upper feeding inlet and are crushed being beaten, impacted, cut and ground by speedy hammer. Below the rotor is set with sieve plate. The materials smaller than the size of the sieve pore will be discharged through the sieve plate while the larger ones will remain on it to be beaten and ground until they can be discharged out of it.
Structure
Heavy hammer crusher is mainly composed of motor, belt pulley and the rotor with a hammer block. The rotor is made up of the main bearing, table, pin and the hammer.

Installation and Maintenance
1)Installation Instructions
1.The hammer crusher should be installed based on the concrete.
2. A hardwood spacer or other materials for shock absorption should be put in the middle of the hammer crusher and the concrete base to avoid the vibration when it works which will affect the structure.
3. The motor and the center of the rotor axle should be in vertical angle not to damage the elastic sleeve on the shaft coupling and to cause the heat of the shaft.
2)Product Maintenance
1. The elastic sleeve on the shaft coupling should be renewed in time if it’s damaged.
2. The adjustment of the granularity can be achieved by altering the form of diagrids or the gap between diagrids with stuffing embedded on both ends inside the chute of the diagrid rack.
3.The granularity of products can also be adjusted by altering the gap between the hammer and the diagrid by means of rotating the eccentric shaft.
4. It must be stopped instantly when there’s a heavy vibration. After the problem is checked and solved, the machine can be restarted.
5. One surface on the impact part of the hammer is usable if the other one is abraded.
