SG18D-3平地机是本公司根据非洲高温和沙地开发的一种高性能多功能平地机。
1.散热系统：鉴于非洲的高温和沙质气候特征，通过增加风扇吹风速度和扩大散热器辐射面积来增强散热系统。它可以保证发动机，变矩器和液压系统在550℃的环境温度下正常工作。
2.后桥：选用徐州美驰车桥有限公司生产的专用轴，可满足平地机连续重载工况要求。
3.前桥：通过改善离地间隙，提高整车行驶性能，优化原车轴结构。转向履带杆变为铰链结构，使转向更加灵活。
4.齿轮箱保护装置：齿轮箱上增加了保护底盖，可以保护齿轮箱免受外部冲击。
5.电气设备：增加燃油液位计，使驾驶员在驾驶过程中方便地了解燃油状况; 转向灯和刹车灯改为LED灯，可以节省更多能源，更好地保护环境。
