Description:Supplied as a 50% aqueous solution. Colorless to straw yellow.
Usage: 1.Glyoxylic acid is the simplest keto acid (aldehyde), both acidic and aldehyde, and is used as an intermediate for varnish raw materials, spices, pharmaceuticals, dyes, plastics and home chemicals. Can be used to produce oral penicillin vanillin, ethyl vanillin and allantoin (see 01320).
