Description
Metformin is a biguanide oral hypoglycemic agents, also known as metformin hydrochloride, Glucophage, metformin, phenformin hypoglycemic effect than to be weak, the main role is to reduce the A cell glucagon secretion, promote the conversion of glucose to glycogen, which can not stimulate islet beta cell insulin secretion.
The mechanism of hypoglycemic:
