Description
Amoxicillin is one of the most commonly used broad-spectrum penicillins β-lactam antibiotics,
and bactericidal effect is the ability to penetrate the cell membrane. The effect is also strong,
and it is currently the more widely used one of oral penicillin. Its residues in food easily lead to
the human body to produce abnormal reaction, China and other countries provide maximum
residue limits for control. Amoxicillin ELISA kits utilizing the latest biotechnology development
has easy, rapid, and sensitive advantages.
This kit uses indirect-competition method mainly based on the immunological reaction between
specific antigen and antibody. Amoxicillin specific antigen coated on microtiter plates competes
binding sites of enzyme-labeled Amoxicillin specific antibody with added calibrator (or sample).
With TMB chromogenic substrate, the absorbance value was negatively correlated with residues
of Amoxicillin. Under the calibration curve, Amoxicillin content of the sample can be quantified
multiplied by the corresponding compare dilution.
