Florfenicol (FF) is thiamphenicol (TAP) derivatives. Belongs to antimicrobial agents, it has an obvious

florfenicol amine residues in food easily lead to potential aplastic anemia. Therefore the UN Codex

Alimentarius Commission (CAC) and many countries have florfenicol (FF) MRLs in food for safety

This kit uses indirect-competition method mainly based on the immunological reaction between specific

antigen and antibody. Florfenicol specific antigen coated on microtiter plates competes binding sites of

enzyme-labeled Florfenicol specific antibody with added calibrator (or sample). With TMB chromogenic

substrate, the absorbance value was negatively correlated with residues of Florfenicol. Under the calibration

curve, Florfenicol content of the sample can be quantified multiplied by the corresponding compare dilution.
