Tetracycline ELISA Diagnostic Kit

Tetracycline (Tc), a widely used antibiotic in poultry disease control and treatment, plays an important

role. Under long-term use, it can lead to bacterial resistance to tetracycline drugs, and potential

carcinogenicity. Tetracycline ELISA kit is convenient, rapid, sensitive and for onsite detection of large

numbers of samples.



This kit uses indirect-competition method mainly based on the immunological reaction between specific

antigen and antibody. Tetracycline-specific antigen coated on microtiter plates competes binding sites of

enzyme-labeled tetracycline-specific antibody with added calibrator (or sample). With TMB chromogenic

substrate, the absorbance value was negatively correlated with residues of tetracycline. Under the calibration

curve, tetracycline content of the sample can be quantified multiplied by the corresponding compare dilution.

Tetracycline residue can be quantitative of tissue, honey, and milk etc.
