This medication is applied to numb itching?and pain from some surface conditions including scrapes, minor burns and [i]nsect bites. It is also used to treat slight discomfort and itching created by hemorrhoids?and matters of the anal part. This medication can also be applied for relieving pain in some possible conditions. It is a local anesthetic creating loss of feeling in the skin.
Using lidocaine HCl topical as following # Cleaning and drying the infected part under direction and covering the skin by the suitable quantity of medication. Generally, 2-3 times a day is enough but it is better to consult your doctor before using.
# Shaking the container of medicine enough before using. Spraying the infected part wet. No spraying directly on your eyes, nose, or mouth.
# Holding the container well and spraying the medicine onto your hand and covering to the infected part.
# No using and covering large parts of surface under the guidance of doctor. But notice that may cause severe side effects.
# Washing hands after treatment unless they are your treating parts. Any medicine getting into your eyes or other areas, washing immediately with plenty water.
# Under the direction of your doctor with the right dosage. But no over using the medication or keeping it longer than prescription.
# Informing your doctor without improvement.
