Epistane is one of the most popular?compounds around because of its properties and effectiveness. It has been found in the brand names of: HRS Epi-Ple, Hardcore Epidrol, RPN Havoc and Hemaguno. If you are starting out, it is is often flagged as being a great one to start with, so read on to learn more about it.

Epistane is a methylated version of Epitiostanol which was originally created as a way to treat breast cancer in the 1960s. However, it has become a controlled substance and is only available in Japan. Because of the demand for it though, chemists modified it with a methyl group and got its name. It is listed under nomenclatures as 2z, 3z-epithio17a methyl-17b-hydroxy-5a-androstane and 2a,3a-epithio-17a-mehtyl-5a-androstan-17b-ol. It’s an anabolic and androgenic steroid and a fairly strong one at that, though its results are milder than other pro-hormones, particularly its side effects.

It contains sulphur and is a mild steroid that is known for its anti-estrongenic benefit (as opposed to many other steroids which make the body produce more estrogen with resulting side issues). While you won’t get as strong a gain as you would from other prohormones – you won’t ‘bulk up’ in other words, instead the muscle gain will be lean-the lack of side effects makes it well worth using.

Epistane cycles usually run for between one and six weeks and doses are between ten and sixty milligrams, depending on how new you are to drug assisted bodybuilding. Beginners should start out with the minimum dose (10mgs) for two days and then increase the dose to 20mgs for the next five days and then for one more week, 30mgs for the third week and 40mgs for the fourth week, assuming you don’t have any reactions to a stronger dose. Always carefully document any reactions you have, anything you feel, and adjust your dose as needed. Never exceed your dose or you could end up making yourself ill and never go longer than six weeks before going into your post cycle therapy. Some very experienced users might go as long as twelve weeks, but this isn’t really advisable unless you’re very experienced in pro hormone use and even then, you could do damage to your body.

There are possible issues to be mindful of. Healthy adults will have less trouble with this one, but there is still a list to be mindful of. Side effects include:

Liver stress, just like any other prohormone, processed by the liver and this can cause damage which is why you need to take a liver supporting supplement alongside the product.
# Dry, achy joints. Adding a moderate dose of DHEA can prevent this
# Painful cramping and pumps in the lower back and calves
# Hair loss

Not everyone will suffer any or all of these problems while some people would suffer them even in small doses. This is why it’s so important to carefully monitor your intake, start small and stop immediately if you have health concerns.
