High Viscosity Poly Anionic Cellulose PAC HV
High Viscosity Poly Anionic Cellulose PAC HV
Description
Product Description
PAC HV (PAC R) is a premium grade purified high viscosity, high molecular weight, polyanionic cellulose, designed to provide viscosity and reduce API filtration rate to water-based drilling fluids. PAC HV can meet requirement of M-I SWACO, HALLIBURTON, BAKER HUGHES.
Advantages
Reduces the filtration rate of the fluid
Increases and improves the fluid rheology (including suspension and hole cleaning)
Stabilizes fluid rheology in the presence of contaminants
Coat and encapsulate cuttings and solids in the drilling fluid, thereby inhibiting the swelling and disintegration of water sensitive solids
Improves the character and consistency of wall cake, thereby reducing the potential for stuck pipe
Application Range and Method
When use, directly mixed into drilling fluid.
Recommend dosage:
Add 0.5-2.0 lb/bbl (1.43-5.71 kg/m3) of PAC-HV filtration control agent slowly through the mud hopper.
