Description
Yellow powder with slight odor, non-toxic. IS 70-20 is not stable and can convert to soluble sulfur. IS 70-20 is insoluble in CS2 and in water.
Because insoluble sulfur is metastable temperature should be kept as low as possible during mixing. Between 100-130℃ significant reversions can take place to soluble sulfur. Insoluble sulfur reversion can take place if it is in direct contact with alkaline components. Due to the optimal dispersion during mixing stage, it seldom appears electrostatic charge accumulating and form agglomerates.
