Description
230KV Tension tower
A transmission tower is a tall structure, usually a steel lattice tower, used to support an overhead power line. They are used in high-voltage AC and DC systems, and come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. There are four major categories of transmission towers: Suspension, terminal, tension, and transposition. Some transmission towers combine these basic functions. Transmission towers and their overhead power lines are often considered to be a form of visual pollution. Methods to reduce the visual effect include undergrounding.
Tension tower was located between every three or four suspension tower to pull the conductors which are re-tied in tension tower insulators.
MEGATRO supplied too many 230KV tension tower to overseas clients, which including many types, such as self-supporting or guyed type. MEGATRO had professional QA &QC team to control quality and execute strict QC & QC plan as per client requirements and fit client design or other technical data. MEGATRO is one of the few manufactures who assemble a face of 230KV overhead tension tower. This attention to quality may not be the cheapest process but it does insure every tower meets our high standards of quality. And it helps to reduce on-site construction cost due to mismatched assemblies.
