Ethyl Acetate as a kind of extract solvent is new compared to Acetone. Ethyl Acetate has the characteristic of lower toxicity compares with Acetone, it is more safety. If the same specification, the price of it will cheaper than Silymarin extracted by Ethanol.So Silymarin extracted with Ethyl Acetate is the first choice of lower toxicity of organic residue solvents and higher flavone among Silymarin products.
