? Application : Flame retardant ZKS-004 is a halogen free flame retardant based on inorganic hypspophosphite. It achieves the flame retardant effect through intumescences. The thermoplastic material foams and cross links on exposure to flame and forms a stable char at the surface acting as a barrier. The protective layer provides a heat-insulation effect, reduces oxygen access and prevents dripping of molten polymer. Flame retardant FR004 was developed for use in TPU, TPE, PBT and GF-PBT. It is suited for both glass- fiber-reinforced and unreinforced grades PBT. The flame retarded plastics exhibit very good physical and electrical properties.
