Macassar Ebony Veneer

Origin:
Largely the northern part of Sulawesi Island and other islands around Macassar Strait

Color and Characteristics:
The heartwood is black with red-brown stripes. Strikingly attractive black-red striped veneer texture. The glossy, very decorative pattern gives every ambiance a warm, dignified atmosphere.

Application:
This prestigious veneer is especially well suited to the decorative sector, such as for high-quality interior finishing, for producing fine furniture and for marquetry and inlay work. Ebony offers the possibility of adding a touch of the exotic to a room thanks to its black-red striped grain.
