Korean Ministry of Knowledge Economy (MKE) announced on Aug. 25, 2008, that from July 2009 to Dec. 2010, Korea National Standards Committee will begin to use national unified KC LOGO. The 13 kinds of Korean mandatory LOGO used now will be unified under KC LOGO.
KCC LOGO (sticking on certified electrical and electronic equipment) used since Nov. 1, 2008, now will be replaced by KC LOGO. The KC LOGO means Korea Certification. At present Korea National Standards Committee uses this unified certification mark, through which to simplify the certification procedure and reduce certification cost, and then KC mark will be a global certification mark.
