Introduction of rtv silicone rubber moulding material
rtv silicone rubber moulding material is used for:
- Unsaturated polyester resins, epoxy resins, polyurethane resins casting
- Polyurethane elastomers casting
- Natural and synthetic waxes casting
- Plasters and cements moulding
- Low-melting point alloy casting
- Imitation wood mouldings
- Decorative ornamental plaster casting
Tin-based silicone rubber, also called condensation-cure silicones, are:
1)two-component materials which cure at room temperature (RTV) to flexible, high tear-strength rubbers.
2)poured onto models or brushable by adding a thixotropic additive.
3)ideal for molds where easy release or high temperature resistance is required.
4)Tin cured silicones can be used for casting polyurethane, epoxy and polyester resins, waxes, all gypsum products and low-temperature metals, soap and candle silicone mold.
5) HY630# is a general purpose rtv silicone elastomer which exhibits excellent tear strength, long library life, and accurate /fine detail reproduction with resins, plaster and low melt alloys.
