Description
Alumina or Aluminium Oxide is an amphoteric oxide of aluminium with the chemical formula Al2O3, it’s the most well-know oxide ceramic material with combination of good mechanical properties and electrical properties. Wintrustek offers different purities of Aluminas, including 88%, 92%, 96%, 99% and 99.7%, for a wide range of applications.
In addition, Alumina can be joined to metals or other ceramics using metallizing and brazing techniques, the most common purity for this application is 96%.
Wintrustek applies different processing methods accroding to different Alumina parts of customized sizes and shapes, dry pressing, cold isostatic pressing(CIP),hot injection moulding, extrusion moulding, tape casting, slip casting, etc.
