Magnolia Extract is produced from the bark of Magnolia offcinalis.

Active Constituents: Magnolol and Honokiol
Specification: Honokiol: 2-50%, Magnolia: 50%, Magnolol + Honokiol: 50-80%
Function:
Honokiol was found to have strong anxiolytic effects. It resists bacteria and ulcer, sedates the central nerves and smoothes the muscles. Especially, magnolol resists gram-positive bacterium, acid-fast bacillus and hyphomycetes significantly and inhibits perversive streptococci. The magnolol and honokiol components of magnolia offcinalis are one thousand times more potent than alpha-tocopherol (Vitamin E) in their antioxidant activity, thereby offering a potential heart-health benefit.
